The idea that we exist today in a global community is embraced by more and more people each day. The “world-view” of who our neighbor is and our responsibility to them is shifting from the person next door, to our facebook friend two continents away. And yet, this feeling of connectivity is never more personal than when we embrace a close friend in trouble, donate money to a needy family or stop to speak to a stranger who is hurting in the line beside us.

It’s this feeling of connection that drives the message “Be the Santa In You”. Each of the special videos from Santa provide the message and potential marching orders to go out into your local community and seek opportunities for “Random Acts of Kindness” on your part. Sometimes the journey begins next door with an elderly couple who can’t pay for heat this winter, and you are able to assist them without letting them know. Or mowing your friends yard because he has been working long hours. He comes home to find it’s been done, without letting him know it was you.

The world is full of opportunity, and it’s right outside your door.
